Feature Races (Futures)

For Australian and selected International feature races, Fixed Odds futures markets are opened well in advance.

Futures markets are subject to ‘All In’ betting rules, meaning returns are guaranteed, however, refunds will not be payable on non-starters.

The only exception is for markets operating under ‘Before Noms’ conditions, where investments placed upon any competitor that does not officially accept for the race at the time first nominations are taken shall be refunded.

Odds vs Evens

Odds vs Evens is a Fixed Odds product that is available on ‘Final Field’ Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound events and allows you to select whether an odd numbered runner or an even numbered runner will win the nominated race.

Odds vs Evens bets are resulted in accordance with the saddlecloth number or rug number of the winning runner. The barrier, gate or box number of the winning runner is not taken into account.

In the event an odd and an even numbered runner dead heat for first place, Odds vs Evens bets are paid at half face value of the ticket.

Odds vs Evens markets are available on the vast majority of Australian and International ‘Final Field’ races for which Fixed Odds Win & Place markets are made available.

For events where pre-post betting is offered, Odds vs Evens markets will generally only become available on race-day once notification of final scratchings is released. For races where pre-post betting is not offered, the Odds vs Evens markets will open shortly following the Fixed Odds Win & Place market.

Odds vs Evens wagers are subject to ‘All In’ betting rules, meaning in the event a runner(s) is scratched from a race after a wager has been placed, the bet will stand at the price quoted. No deductions will be applicable to winning bets placed prior to the scratching(s) nor will refunds be payable.

The only exception is if the event is abandoned, in which case all bets will be declared void and refunded.

Inside vs Outside

Inside vs Outside is also a Fixed Odds bet type but is only offered on ‘Final Field’ Greyhound events and allows you to select whether the winner of the race will come from an inside draw (Boxes 1, 2, 3 or 4) or from an outside draw (Boxes 5, 6, 7 or 8).

Resulting of Inside vs Outside markets is purely based upon the box number from which the winning runner was drawn and does not take rug numbers into account.

For example, if the 2nd Reserve (Number 10) for a nominated Greyhound race won and jumped from Box 4, “Inside” would be declared the winning outcome for the Inside vs Outside market.

Inside vs Outside markets are available on the majority of Australian and New Zealand ‘Final Field’ Greyhound races for which Fixed Odds Win & Place markets are made available.

For events where pre-post betting is offered, Inside vs Outside markets will generally only become available on race-day once notification of final scratchings are released. For races where pre-post betting is not offered, the Inside vs Outside markets will open shortly following the Fixed Odds Win & Place market.

Inside vs Outside wagers are subject to ‘All In’ betting rules, meaning in the event a runner(s) is scratched from a race after a wager has been placed, the bet will stand at the price quoted. No deductions will be applicable to winning bets placed prior to the scratching(s) nor will refunds be payable.

The only exception is if the event is abandoned, in which case all bets will be declared void and refunded.

Jockey Challenge

Jockey Challenge markets are available on the vast majority of Australian and New Zealand Thoroughbred meetings and allow you to select which jockey will score the most number of points for winners and place-getters for the specified meeting.

Points are awarded on a 3, 2, 1 basis for the placing of 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in each race on the card. If two or more jockeys finish the meeting on the same number of points, the dead heat rule applies.

Betting is conducted upon an ‘All In’ basis unless a listed jockey fails to complete at least one ride at the nominated meeting. In such instances, all bets are declared void and refunded.

Jockey Challenge Quinella markets are also available for nominated Thoroughbred programmes.

Box Challenge

Box Challenge markets are available on the bulk of Australian and New Zealand Greyhound meetings and allow you to select which box number will score the most number of points for winners and place-getters for the specified meeting.

Points are awarded on a 3, 2, 1 basis for the placing of 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in each race of the meeting. Any points gained by a reserve runner will be awarded to the box from which that runner commenced.

Betting is strictly subject to ‘All In’ betting rules. In the event two or more boxes finish the meeting with an equal number of points, the dead heat rule shall apply.

Driver Challenge

Driver Challenge markets are available on selected feature Harness meetings and allow you to select which driver will score the most number of points for winners and place-getters for the specified meeting.

Points are awarded on a 3, 2, 1 basis for the placing of 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in each race on the card. If two or more drivers finish the meeting on the same number of points, the dead heat rule applies.

Betting is conducted upon an ‘All In’ basis unless a listed driver fails to complete at least one engagement at the nominated meeting. In such instances, all bets are declared void and refunded.
