For any race under Final Field conditions where a Fixed Odds Win & Place market is offered:-
- Where there is 8 or more runners, 3 place dividends will be paid.
- Where there is between 5 and 7 runners, 2 place dividends will be paid.
- Where there is 4 or less runners, betting is conducted on a ‘Win Only’ basis.
The number of placings payable at the time a Place wager is struck will not change even in the event the field size is reduced due to scratchings, however, deductions will apply.
